High-visibility, versatile MIP LCD
The digital display employs a high-precision, high-contrast MIP LCD with a wide viewing angle. This enables more detailed rendering than conventional LCD displays, delivering outstanding readability even in bright outdoor spaces and direct sunlight. The newly developed MIP can be powered entirely by solar. The high-definition full-dot display, with memory embedded in each pixel, allows the user to switch between four TIME MODE displays with the touch of a button, and, via the app, to change the main display font from CLASSIC to STANDARD for a traditional 7-segment look.

While preserving the iconic G-SHOCK design, the lineup offers two LCD styles. The positive display model features colors that pay tribute to the original DW-5600C. The negative display model uses a monochromatic palette for a cool, understated look.
