Cleaner Coasts for Mumbai: Casio India’s “Recycle Responsibly” Initiative with Change Is Us Collects Over 1250 Kgs of Waste

In a significant step toward strengthening environmental awareness and community-driven action, Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd.—a trusted global leader in innovative watches, calculators, musical instruments, and label printers—joined hands with SHEOWS, Allied Waste Solutions, Onika Social Welfare Foundation, and Change Is Us to host the ‘Recycle Responsibly’ Mega Beach Clean-Up Drive at Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai. The large-scale initiative brought together over 200 volunteers, including leadership teams from Casio India and Allied Waste Solutions, along with volunteers from Change Is Us. Together, they collected more than 1,250 kilograms of plastic and non-biodegradable waste, sending a compelling message about the importance of recycling and responsible waste management. Driven by a vision to create lasting ecological impact through corporate responsibility, youth engagement, and sustainable community action, the ‘Recycle Responsibly’ initiative stands as a call for citizens to reduce waste and embrace mindful recycling practices.
