The capital city of Germany, Berlin is a city where history and culture intertwine. It’s well known as having a vibrant club scene that attracts music lovers from all around the world, however it also has a reputation as a major hub for classical music, making Berlin a true “City of Music.” This dynamic city is home to Antonie Weber, a university student currently navigating through life in Berlin.

Antonie was born and raised in the city and enjoys a daily routine that carefully balances study with everyday life. She usually heads straight home after school but weekends are a different story! Antonie works part-time at a small neighborhood café and also babysits for family friends on occasion.
“I love getting to experience different cultures and ways of life. That curiosity led me to spend a year each abroad in both Colombia and Istanbul.”
Antonie likes to make the most of life, whether in Berlin or travelling abroad. However, no matter the time or place, music is one of the constants in her life.
“Music is a constant part of my life. Wherever I go, music is always with me.”
Antonie comes from a family where all her siblings also play instruments and she’s been playing the piano for years. Her initial reaction when first seeing the Privia was distinct, exclaiming “I’ve never seen a piano like this before!”
This profound impression only grew stronger after playing it for the first time.
“The keys feel great and it is just so much fun to play. The design looks amazing and I love how it lets me create a wide range of sounds, which helps me feel really creative when I play.”
Above all, what stood out to her most was its portability.
“Being able to take my music with me anywhere is really important to me. When I next travel abroad I definitely plan to take my Privia with me!” she says with a smile.
