There is some accompaniment which generates weird sounds when I transpose it.

Some accompaniment utilizes the Versatile Tones .
The Transpose is a function which shifts a note chromatically and the Versatile Tone is a tone which allocates each sound effect tone to different notes.

So, when you transpose an accompaniment, a sound effect tone of the Versatile tone is replaced with some other sound effect tone. As a result, the tone could be heard as a noise.

You could avoid this by transposing higher instead of transposing lower. For instance, when you transpose C key to A key, transpose it 9 semitones higher instead of 3 semitones lower.
