Sustainability is a journey
The fx-85GT CW+ range uses post - consumer recycled (PCR) materials. PCR plastic is made from everyday items that have already been used and discarded. By reprocessing this material instead of relying on virgin plastics, we reduce waste and lower the environmental impact of production, giving existing resources a new life.
The new ClassWiz+ range provides a unique opportunity for calculator users to invest in a product that is designed and produced with sustainability in mind. Using between 45% and 90% recycled plastics within the calculator body of the fx-85GT CW+ calculator models.
All Casio ClassWiz+ models packaging is also made from recyclable cardboard, and reduces the use of plastics even further, as part of Casio's ongoing commitment to reduce CO2 emissions by using recycled plastics and adopting paper packaging to decrease virgin plastic usage.
