Three early G-SHOCK models that remain enduring classics take on stylish monochromatic schemes. Their distinctive shock-resistant forms are presented in a black and gray block design, with a metal buckle polished to a honing finish and silver vapor deposition applied to the watch glass. The front buttons on the DW-6900MTM are treated to a honing finish, as well. These brilliant accents deliver a bold, striking statement set against the watch’s matte finish.
Multi-material design
DWE-5600MTM
The band employs a combination of different materials. The band extending down from 6 o’clock is composed of stainless steel links, with both links and buckle treated to a honing finish to enhance the texture of the metal. The band from 12 o’clock features urethane and fine resin links, with a single translucent resin link added for a touch of whimsy. The clear black watch face is accented with a gray mesh pattern print and silver vapor deposition. The monochromatic block scheme used for individual components highlights the mix of contrasting materials. The center case is made with carbon fiber-reinforced resin, which offers both strength and lightness.
