Translucent resin is used for the bezel, creating a see-through design that shows the internal construction of the watch through the material’s tinted hues. Solid colors are used for the band, with options of black and blue. While creating a unified color tone with the bezel, the design brings out textural contrast. Carbon fiber-reinforced resin is used for the center case, and colored IP is applied to the mode button.

The digital display employs a high-definition, high-contrast MIP LCD with a wide viewing angle. The full-dot display, capable of fine, detailed rendering, enables information-rich display that combines numerical values and graphics. The tide graph depicts the ocean waves, a feature befitting the G-LIDE line’s dedication to the active seaside life.

Equipped with training functions that support four different activities. The heart rate monitor tracks and displays the body’s condition during exercise in real time, while the accelerometer provides measurements including step count and distance traveled. Pairing with smartphone GPS enables precision distance calibration as well. Also, the use of carbon fiber-reinforced resin for the case back minimizes the weight, for a lighter feel on the wrist.

The timepiece evaluates and analyzes the wearer’s current performance and condition based on body data captured by the watch. Data analysis utilizes heart rate-focused training insights powered by Polar’s best-in-class library. Utilizing scientifically supported, highly reliable results enables fine-tuning of training efforts and helps maintain efficient performance.

Smartphone pairing via Bluetooth® delivers automatic time correction and makes it easy to configure tide graph settings (for about 3,300 points around the world) from the app. Tracked data can also be sent to a paired smartphone and checked in training logs and life logs.
