The tape uses thermal paper, so long-term display can result in discoloration.

Also, leaving the tape in the printer for long periods can cause unwanted marks on the tape, deterioration of adhesion, and even make proper printing impossible.
If you do not plan to print for a long time, be sure to remove the tape and store it in a location that is not exposed to high temperature or moisture.
