Up your game with some serious timekeeping. This GMW-B5000 timepiece is directly descended from the first-ever G-SHOCK, now clad in metal. The exceptional GMW-B5000TVB takes its inspiration from the virtual world. This watch is crafted in titanium to deliver a timepiece that is both strong and lightweight. Lug holes in the bezel reveal the case and fine resin buffering beneath for a design that moves style into the future. Geometric camouflage in black and brown ion plating meets incremental color finishing technology to capture the look of high-end virtual gear. Featuring numbers and specs laser-engraved on the bezel and band, the GMW-B5000TVB delivers high-spec gaming and sci-fi style for the real world.

The exterior design sports a motif evoking gear from the virtual world. We apply titanium carbide to the bezel and band, then add multiple layers of coloured IP while masking certain areas to create silver, brown, and black geometric patterns in irregular combinations. Then we finish with laser-engraved markings to capture the look of high-end virtual gear down to the finest detail.

The case, bezel, and band are made from light, strong pure titanium. Holes are bored into the lugs and band, and the bores in the lugs reveal the fine resin buffering component. An orange inlay accents the light button to give flair to the side view as well.

While inheriting the iconic form of the very first G-SHOCK, we refashioned the watch face to complement the new exterior design, employing a negative LCD and a geometric pattern printed on the crystal in place of the standard brick pattern. Function indicators for each button are accompanied by laser-engraved markings that conjure caution signs.

Full metal shock-resistant structure

Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the titanium bezel and case. With its metal exterior in the original form of the very first G-SHOCK, the watch makes the most of its shock-resistant structure.

DLC coated screw-lock case back for a tight seal

Like the very first G-SHOCK, the GMW-B5000TVB uses a screw-lock case back that ensures a tight seal. Made of titanium, it delivers both strength and lightness. The case back is coated in diamond-like carbon (DLC) to enhance abrasion resistance.
*Due to the screw-lock construction of the case back, the orientation of the logo and lettering on it may not match up perfectly with the dial.
