CASIO Sustainability
Published on 19 September 2024
At CASIO, promoting a shift to a circular economy is key to building a sustainable future. We are dedicated to utilizing renewable materials, creating long-lasting products, and collaborating with environmental groups to reduce our ecological footprint.
Starting in January 2024, we will begin transitioning from metal-tin packaging to more sustainable, eco-friendly packaging for select models*. By replacing metal with recycled paper, we aim to reduce CO2 emissions, as metal production generates significant carbon output. We will also use vegetable ink for printing on outer boxes, and replace plastic protective bags with natural cotton alternatives.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to every detail of our packaging. The white interior of our boxes will be made using pulp mold forming from 100% recycled paper. This shift highlights our focus on reducing CO2 emissions and eliminating plastic, as we strive to adopt more eco-conscious practices in our packaging.
