Nostalgia is built on the back of time. For Brian, this project was a sentimental translation of the feeling he embodied as a young boy when he laid eyes on the first guitar back home, in Indonesia. He recalls the bright seafoam green body was alluring and that it paired unapologetically well with the pink. The black and white exterior packaging represents his candid nature of communication over music, very “black and white.” To the purchaser, it’s meant to build anticipation like a Christmas gift. What you see is never what you get with Brian. As this fond memory translates to the watch, it serves as a reminder of where he came from and the amount of time it took to arrive.
